Vacation at Mimi's

Yep! It's me again. Don't I look marvelous? I am at my grandparents. You remember, Mimi and Gator. Haven't I grown so much since this picture was taken? I was just a little kid then, and look at me now.

My Mom and I got to come to my grandparent's house because of my Mom's work. Twice in one month. What a great job you have Mom and what a great time we had. Here I am sitting at my favorite place in Mimi's house, the kitchen table. As you may be able to tell I just woke up from my nap and I am raring to go.

Going to Mimi's and Gator's house is so much fun, because there are so many new things to explore and wonderful places to investigate. Now, let's see what is in here. I bet it is something just for me. That is Gus keeping a watchful eye in the background. I am not sure if Gus knew what to make of me, but we had a great time together.

My Mom had to work pretty hard all week while I was on vacation. She did get some time to relax and catch up with old friends. Here she is on some of her well earned time off, relaxing a little. You hear me Dad? Taking care of Thomas is no easy task. Just ask Gator.

It wasn't all vacation. Here I am in Gator's and Mimi's big yard helping to weed the flower beds. I am not sure how much help I was, although Gator said he might not need to mulch this Spring since I did such a good job of digging up the dirt.

There was a little time for play too. Mom and Mimi made sure I got to take advantage of the great playgrounds around the area. I can't wait to get back so I can visit them all. Maybe by then this car will be running.

Here I am with one of my new best friends, Zach. He helped me dump out all the toys at Mimi's house, although Gator said I didn't need much help at that. Hey, Susan Kate (remember that is my cousin) wait until you get to Mimi's and Gator's and see all the toys that they have for you to play with. You may even get a chance to meet Zach. He is such a great guy, but remember he is my best friend.
Here are some of my other new BFFs. I am told that stands for 'Best Friends Forever'. Austin and Bea (Isn't that a funny name? I have a book about a Bee) are a little older than I am, but they were very patient with me and I really liked being with them. Austin and Bea live close by Mimi and Gator and are the children of one of my Mom's BFFs. I am really hoping I can see them again soon. Maybe by then I will be big enough to play some baseball with Austin. He is such a good player.
Well, that is about it for now. Mom and I are back home now. I bet I have logged almost as many flight hours as my Dad and I know I must be ahead of my Uncle Seth. Dad and Uncle Seth please fly safe. I know Mom and I will. Until next time, have a great day. I know I am. Love, Thomas

Happy Easter. Welcome to Spring

Howdy! I hope everyone had a great Easter. I certainly did. Mom and I are getting ready to take a trip to Mimi's and Gator's house for one on my Mom's business meetings. I can't wait to see them. I am getting to be a regular air traveler. This is something like the 11th airplane trip that my Mom and I have taken together. Thanks, Mom. I love you.

I love you too Dad.

Here I am at Mimi's and Gator's. Mimi fed me real well. I really liked her cooking, especially the pasta and meat balls. I know it was a hassle for my Mom to tote me along on her business trip, but I really had a great time.

This is my Mom. She must have had a great time at her business meeting. She won a trophy for some kind of go-kart derby. Go-karts, Mom? You must have had a great time. I understand you won the entire competition. We aren't being a little too competitive. are we?

Anyway, I also had a great time and I can't wait to get back to see my buddy Gus. See you in a couple of weeks, Mimi. Love, Thomas
